Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey, who had written the crime novel ‘Ghalib Danger’, launched the Hindi version of the book at New Delhi yesterday with Manoj Bajpayee and revealed his desire to make a film on it.

When asked if he would want to adapt the book for the silver screen, Pandey replied in the affirmative and also added that he would love to have Manoj Bajpayee play the lead role in the film. ‘Ghalib Danger’ narrates the story of a Mumbai-based young taxi driver, Kamran Ali whose life takes a turn after he saves the life of an underworld don, Mirza. Bajpayee said that being a greedy actor, he would love to play both Kamran and Mirza.

Bajpayee has worked with Pandey in films like Special 26, Saat Uchakkey, Naam Shabana and Aiyaary.
