After gaining immense popularity in his role as Maharashtrian gangster Bhiku Mhatre in cult film Satya, actor Manoj Bajpai will be once more seen playing the role of a gangster in Sanjay Gupta's forthcoming gangster flick Shootout At Wadala. Reportedly, Manoj will be playing the role of Dawood Ibrahim's elder brother Sabir in the flick
Confirming the news, Sanjay Gupta was quoted to have said, "No one has seen Manoj in the Bhiku Mhatre space after Satya. Now, he will be back to doing what audiences love him for most. Sabir played an instrumental role in creating the underworld. A flamboyant guy, his death spawned the birth of the D Company gangs in Mumbai."
The film, which dramatizes the first ever registered encounter by the Mumbai police department, will go on floors on March 1 and John Abraham will be seen playing the role of gritty gangster Manya Surve in the project.
