Malaika Arora’s mother, Joyce Arora, is currently stranded in Dubai after flight operations were disrupted due to escalating tensions in the Middle East. Reports suggest that the situation has affected air travel across several countries, leaving many passengers stuck in the region.

Joyce had travelled to Dubai to celebrate her elder sister’s birthday. Coincidentally, she also celebrated her own birthday there during the trip. However, her plans to return to Mumbai on March 3 were disrupted when she received a notification that her flight had been cancelled because of the ongoing conflict.

Speaking about her experience, Joyce revealed that she witnessed tense moments in the sky during the conflict. She said it was frightening to see missiles being intercepted overhead, something she had never experienced before. Despite the alarming visuals, she said she currently feels safe in Dubai and praised the authorities for handling the situation efficiently.

Joyce also shared that her daughters, Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora, are in constant touch with her from Mumbai. She revealed that they call her several times a day to check on her well-being as they wait for flight services to fully resume.

The rising tensions in parts of West Asia have led to multiple flight cancellations and rerouting, affecting travellers across the region. Several celebrities and tourists have reportedly faced similar travel disruptions during this period.

For now, Joyce Arora remains hopeful that normal flight operations will resume soon so she can safely return to Mumbai and reunite with her family. We hope to see her back in Mumbai soon.
