John Abraham's latest release Madras Cafe, which was being opposed by Tamil outfits in Chennai, faced a similar issue in the United Kingdom recently.
Sources claim that a crowd of 150 people, claiming to represent a pro-Tamil outfit, landed up at the head offices of the Cineworld multiplex in West London. The mob demanded that the screening of the film be cancelled as it allegedly portrayed Tamilians in a negative light. The staff at the movie-hall had to summon the cops for bringing the situation under control, it seems.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar, Madras Cafe also stars Nargis Fakhri and revolves around the Tamil separation issue and a RAW agent's efforts to uncover a mole in his organization.
