Although Madhur Bhandarkar's latest release Heroine, starring Kareena Kapoor, has opened to mixed responses, he has set his eyes on his next. The filmmaker, known to make hard-hitting films such as Chandni Bar, Page 3 and Fashion, is set to make a musical along with the T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar.
Sources claim that the two have been keen to work together for a long time, but somehow things never worked out. The film is set to start in the beginning of 2013. Madhur already has a three-film deal with UTV, two of which Fashion and Heroine are already out. Sources add that once he wraps up his third film, his production house and T-Series will get into a joint venture.
Bhushan was quoted saying that in a week's time, he will discuss with Madhur on how to take things forward.
