Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, last week after she complained of breathing problems. She has been diagnosed with a chest infection and while her family has requested for privacy, rumours keep surfacing about her health.

However, now we have got a correct update by filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who recently visited the crooner. Madhur posted a picture of the Indian nightingale and along with it he wrote, “Visited the Hospital to see @lata_mangeshkar didi glad to inform that she is stable and responding positively to the treatment. Thanks everyone for countless blessings & prayers for her speedy recovery.”
