Luv Ranjan Gives An Update On Ajay Devgn-Ranbir Kapoor Film And Its Genre

Way back in May 2018, Luv Ranjan had announced a film with two superstars, Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor. The announcement built a hype amongst the fans, but unfortunately it couldn't go on floors. Luv and Ranbir are now releasing Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, and Luv has finally revealed some details about the project.

Talking about the genre and why the film couldn't go on floors, Luv revealed, "It was a gangster action film. I couldn't go on ahead due to the date issues with Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor."

However, while announcing the project, he had said, "When an actor is excited about their role and their character in the film - things like whether it's a one hero or two hero film is immaterial. The fact is that both the actors found the script amazing."

So, what's the current status of the film? Will it go on floors in the future? Luv Ranjan answered, "Right now we are all busy. We couldn't manage dates then, but once I get free, I'll think about it. If I feel that I still want to make the film, I'll meet Ajay and Ranbir and discuss whether they still want to do this project. If they say yes, then I'll definitely make the film."
