It’s a well-framed effort. And what’s better, it’s between two close pals who are kicked up about the same opus.
Case in point: Pranam Walekum.
Tigmanshu Dhulia has offered to direct two scenes for Sanjay Mishra’s directorial debut film Pranam Walekum. Tigmanshu saw the flick and immediately fell in love with it. "And that is when Sanjay asked him to direct two scenes for him as a good-luck charm and Tigmanshu agreed. We had some scenes left that were to be shot in Mumbai and immediately grabbed this. Sanjay and Tigmanshu are very good friends and he is doing this for Sanjay. In fact he will be directing Irrfan Khan," comments producer Sandiip Kapoor. Except for these two scenes that will be shot on the weekend, Pranam Walekum has already moved into post production. The first copy will be out in January 2012.
As the title suggests, Pranam Walekum with its tongue-in-cheek humour, is a funny and satirical take on life.
Produced by Sandiip Kapur, the star cast of the film comprises Giselli Monteiro, Vijay Raaz, Manu Rishi, Shilpa Shukla, Manoj Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra and Vindu Dara Singh, among others. Irrfan Khan is in guest appearance.
Produced under the banner of Promodome Films, it is co-produced by Bhushan Sharma while music is given by Amit Mishra.
