Love In Vietnam Box Office:

Love In Vietnam, starring Shantanu Maheshwari and Avneet Kaur, has turned out to be a complete washout at the box office. Despite the buzz around its fresh pairing and international backdrop, the film has failed to bring audiences to cinemas.

On its opening weekend, the film collected only ₹25–26 lakhs, which is shockingly low for a production mounted on a budget of around ₹25-30 crore. On Friday, it managed a mere ₹7 lakhs, followed by ₹9 lakhs on Saturday and ₹10 lakhs on Sunday. This took the film’s first-weekend total to an embarrassing figure of under ₹26 lakhs.

For a film of this scale and cost, such collections are nothing short of a colossal disaster. The film’s poor performance clearly shows the lack of interest from audiences, both in metros and smaller centers. Even with young leads like Shantanu and Avneet, who enjoy a decent fan following, Love In Vietnam has not been able to generate any excitement. The addition of Vietnamese actress Kha Ngan didn't help at all.

The dismal box office run puts the film among the biggest flops of recent times. With such low numbers, recovering even a fraction of its budget seems impossible. The makers will now have to rely on satellite and digital rights to salvage some of the losses, but theatrically, the film is a complete non-starter. Even with digital backing, it's not going anywhere since the audience reception and critics review have been negative mostly.

Love In Vietnam

In our review, we wrote:

"Love In Vietnam is a film that seems to have no sense of rhythm, timing, or storytelling clarity. It becomes a waste of both time and money in almost every sense. The storyline drags endlessly for two hours, but it feels like an unbearable three-hour headache. That imaginative extra hour of frustration lingers in your head, and by the end, you walk out asking yourself—why on earth did I just waste two hours of my life on this cinematic disaster."
