When it comes to the Devgn family, one can safely say that the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree. Ajay Devgn, who was known as the son of action stunt director Veeru Devgn in the early days of his career, has reportedly taken charge of the action sequences in Son Of Sardar.
A member of the unit was quoted to have said, "It all started when Ajay's Sardar character had to perform a stunt on a horse. However, the Singham star felt that the way he was being told to do the stunt was not in keeping with the decorum required for the Sikh character. Taking charge of the situation, Devgn then did the horse sequence his way. That was when director Ashwin Dheer and Devgn decided that the latter should take over the film's stunts."
Incidentally, with this move, Ajay has become the producer, actor and also the stunt coordinator for the movie. Devgn will be playing a Sikh character for the first time in his career with Son Of Sardar which stars Rascals co-star Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha as the female lead.
