Seema Deo, a Bollywood actress and wife of the late Ramesh Deo, passed away today in Mumbai. She was 84 years old and had suffered from Alzheimer's for the last 3 years. She took her last breath at her home in Mumbai. May God rest her soul in peace.Seema Deo's son, director Abhinay Deo confirmed the news to the Indian Express.
"Mom passed away earlier today. She was fine; she was suffering from Alzheimer’s, but otherwise she was fine," he told the media portal with a heavy heart.
The funeral of Seema Deo will take place today at 4.30 p.m., and the last rites will be performed at Shivaji Park crematorium. Many names from the Marathi and Hindi cinema industries will be there to pay their last respects.Seema Deo has acted in over 80 Marathi and Hindi movies over the span of 5 decades. She debuted with Miya Biwi Razi in 1960 and continued working until Jetaa (2010). She has some fine films in her filmography, such as "Anand" (1971), "Koshish" (1972), "Kora Kaagaz" (1974), and many more.
