The Nightingale Of India will be making a donation of Rs. 1 Crore to the Indian Army on the occasion of her father, Deenanath Mangeshkar’s death anniversary, which falls on April 2. Lata Mangeshkar had condemned the Pulwama terrorist attack on Twitter and had also offered condolences to the families of the soldiers, who lost their lives in the dastardly attack.
The songstress also saluted the valour of the Indian Air Force as twelve Mirage 2000 fighter jets struck joint training camps of Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar across LOC and killed about 300 militants by shelling over 1000 kg bombs, on Tuesday, as a retaliation to the dastardly terrorist attack on the CRPF convoy.
