"Our Director Told Us Not To Meet Each Other," Reveals Lakshya On Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt's Unique Approach to His Chemistry with Raghav Juyal

Lakshya and Raghav Juyal are up against each other in KILL. From the teaser and trailer, we get an idea of what kind of fight scenes they will share, and the realism of the bloodbath is indeed nerve-cracking.

There is something interesting about this hero and villain's Jodi. Lakshya and Raghav Juyal did not interact with each other before filming Kill. Actually, they were told not to meet each other by director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. Now, this definitely sounds unique.It was an unusual approach to build an on-screen chemistry by Bhatt. Nikhil Nagesh Bhat had a specific vision to create a cinematic chemistry between these two, and they obeyed his commands as it was necessary for the characters.

Lakshya and Raghav had separate training regimes to avoid face-offs on the sets. Confirming the same, Lakshya recently mentioned in an interview, “We were cast already. But our director told us not to meet each other at all. He didn't want us to interact. Raghav and I were training separately. It helped us a lot, and I hope it will reflect on the screen and the audience will love it."

Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Kill is produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions, and Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain under Sikhya Entertainment's banner. Kill stars newcomer Lakshya, alongside Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala. The film is scheduled to be released on July 5, 2024.
