'Lagaan' Actor Shrivallabh Vyas Paralyzed, Family Struggles To Pay ICU Bills

Character artiste Shrivallabh Vyas, who has played key roles in films like Lagaan, Dil Bole Hadippa!, Sarfarosh and Shool to name a few, has been paralyzed since the past four years and is currently in the ICU at a hospital in Jaipur.

Reportedly, four years ago, while shooting for a film in Gujarat, the veteran actor fainted in the washroom and was found in a pool of blood next morning. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was operated upon, however post the surgery he became paralyzed. Presently, the National School of Drama alumnus is in ICU and his family is struggling to pay for his treatment.

His wife, who has relocated to Jaipur from Mumbai along with her two daughter owing to financial constraints, has revealed that they approached CINTAA (Cine & T.V Artistes Association) for help, however they offered her a meager sum of Rs. 10000, which she refused to accept. Sources reveal that Aamir Khan is helping the family financially and also paid them a visit while shooting for his forthcoming film P.K, in Jaipur.
