L2 Empuraan Box Office:
Mohanlal's L2 Empuraan created history on day one at the Malayalam box office, but on the second day, the picture turned upside down. After becoming the biggest opener ever in Malayalam cinema, this Prithviraj Sukumaran action drama experienced a substantial decline in numbers on day two.
L2 Empuraan Review: A Colossal Waste of Potential, Time, and Money by Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran
L2E collected approximately ₹21 crore nett (₹25 crore gross) on the opening day, setting a new benchmark for Malayalam movies. The film hit a huge ₹65 crore gross mark at the worldwide box office, which is a new high for Mollywood. However, due to the poor response from audiences and critics, the film declined on the second day.

L2: Empuraan clocked in approximately ₹11 crore nett on Friday, reflecting a significant drop of close to 50% from Thursday. The film has been affected by negative reviews and justifiably so, but it will be interesting to see how far the film goes. It had everything to set new benchmarks before release, but now it seems that the film will fall short of those high expectations. The two-day total for this Mohanlal-starrer stands at ₹33 crore nett, and it is expected to hit the ₹50 crore nett mark by the end of the weekend. After that, it will see an even bigger drop from Monday.
