Karan Johar, who hosts the popular show Koffee With Karan, is back with his magical conversation for the 8th season. The second episode had superstar Sunny Deol and his brother Bobby Deol on the KWK couch. Sunny, who is coming after the huge success of Gadar 2, was praised by the master host, KJO.

Congratulating Sunny Deol on his success, Karan Johar said, "I feel that the first thing I need to do is give you a standing ovation post what happened with Gadar. I think, in many ways, what happened with Gadar was historic. Like literally in the archives of Indian cinema. A moment like this perhaps has never been seen. We have a film that was released in 2001, a mammoth success, and after that, obviously, it's made such a huge place in the hearts of like a zillion people that when it comes back 22 years later, it opens to a 40 crore day 1 and then way over 520-530 cr. I don't even know how many numbers it made, like massive, global numbers!'Sunny Deol shared, "Well, I had an idea that the film would do well, but I had no idea how well. Because woh film jab lagi thi, jis tarah se usne gadar machaya tha. It had just penetrated everybody's heart, and at that time there were also shows around the clock, and I had no idea what the hell was happening. I just started feeling the buzz from the people and from the audience. The way they were interacting and how happy they were, I was just feeling so much love that I remember telling everyone. I remember Bobby and Papa being there, and I was coming home after the Navy event. I was just laughing and crying. I was feeling that Rabb was in me; I couldn't explain it. I remember hugging everyone; it was so unreal. I don't know if I will ever get it again or what it was.
