Kunaal Roy Kapoor's Weight Loss, Not For 'Nautanki Saala!'

Kunaal Roy Kapur, who has been looking much thinner in the trailers of his upcoming film, Nautanki Saala!, recently stated that he lost weight because he wanted to and not for the sake of the film. The actor was last seen in an overweight avatar in the 2011 film, Delhi Belly.

At a recent event, Kunaal said "I wanted to lose the excess weight for myself and not because of the film. I was fat and I had to look fit for myself. I felt that if I looked the same as I was in Delhi Belly, people would typecast me. I had to gain 20 kilos for Delhi Belly."

Nautanki Saala, starring Kunaal Roy Kapur, Ayushmann Khurrana, Pooja Salvi and Evelyn Sharma, is set to release on April 12, 2013.
