According to a report in HT City, Kriti Sanon will play the lead role in legendary actress Meena Kumari's biopic. The project will mark the directorial debut of fashion designer Manish Malhotra, who also happens to be a good friend of Kriti.
Way back in time, Hansal was rumoured to be helming the project. However, he cleared the air about it very soon after the news went viral. This time, Bhushan Kumar is set to roll out the project with Kriti Sanon and Manish Malhotra. An official word on the same is awaited.
