Krishika Lulla is a happy woman. As a producer, she is proud to have put together an unconventional, yet promisingly entertaining film in the form of NH10, where she has Anushka Sharma joining as an actor as well as producer (along with Phantom).

In the plethora of films that are arriving practically every weekend, the producer in her is happy to make her NH10 look distinct, not just in terms of theme and narrative, but also overall stage, setting, styling and presentation.

"I realize that one needs to be careful all the time while being on the road, which sets the premise for NH10. Moreover, when I read the script, I sensed that it isn't something that is focused so much on a woman being a central protagonist. It could happen to anyone who is traveling, be it a man or a woman," says Krishika.

For someone like her who is also producing a feel good frothy entertainer Tanu Weds Manu Returns with Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut, how is it to be associated with something as volatile as NH10?

"Yes, the film is volatile but then it is real, and of course entertaining. Director Navdeep Singh, who has earlier made Manorama - Six Feet Under, believes in this kind of genre. I knew that he would give good justice to the film and he has done that quite well with NH10," she adds.

No wonder, she is keenly awaiting the arrival of her woman-centric affair that hits the screens on 13th March.
