During last half a decade, Krishika Lulla has attempted various genres as a producer. From making a musical romantic drama (Raanjhanaa) to a bromance affair (Desi Boyz) to a live-animation kiddie flick (Toonpur Ka Superhero) to a light hearted road trip affair (Chalo Dilli) to a revenge comedy (Bajatey Raho), Krishika has never once repeated the genre of her films.
Now for her sixth film as a producer, she has decided to take the action thriller route which is a holds-no-bar unabashed affair. The film in question is NH10 which has Anushka Sharma as the central protagonist.
"Yes, I have touched all kind of genres earlier but something like NH10 is new to me; I haven't attempted it before. I am trying to live new experiences," says Krishika, who has been known to be a hands-on producer during the making of her films.
Once she interacted with director Navdeep Singh about the film, there was no looking back.
"When I heard the script of NH10, I was sure that I wanted to make this movie," says Krishika, "See, there are two kinds of worlds; one which we live in and another which is in the lost areas of India that we just touch upon while passing through a highway. NH10 is a kind of thriller which anyone can experience in real life too."
Now that's something we would get to know more once NH10, which has Anushka Sharma and Phantom come together as a producers as well, releases all over this Friday.
