Kraven The Hunter Rotten Ratings:
Kraven the Hunter, the sixth installment in Sony's Spider-Man universe, produced by Columbia Pictures, Marvel Entertainment, TSG Entertainment II, Arad Productions, and Matt Tolmach Productions, has emerged as another rotten affair in the universe.
The Rotten Tomatoes rating for Kraven's standalone film has been unveiled, and the film ranks among the worst-rated films in the SSU. The film currently holds a 15% rating with 53 reviews, making it one of the lowest-rated films in the said universe.
Sony's Spider-Man Universe now has three movies below 20% ratings on the critics' site. Madame Web (2024) holds the bottom spot with an 11% rating, and it seems that Kraven will not go that low. Morbius has a 15% rating—same as Kraven the Hunter—and the latter is likely to face the same reception at the box office. Shockingly, none of Sony's movies in this Spider-Man universe have been able to cross 60% ratings on the RT score, marking six consecutive critical failures.
J.C. Chandor's Kraven the Hunter is set to be released on December 13, 2024, in North America and other international countries, while the India release has been pushed to January 2025. It features Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the lead role of Kraven, while Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, and Russell Crowe play supporting roles. As per official synopsis thefilm explores Kraven's complex relationship with his father and his path to becoming the greatest hunter.
