Vicky Kaushal will be next seen in Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship and the actor recently revealed that he had signed the film much before the release of Uri and Sanju. Vicky isn’t very fond of horror films however, Bhoot: The Haunted Ship is a supernatural-thriller and he agreed to do it as he wants to explore more genres.
When asked why he chose to do Bhoot after doing films like Uri, when he doesn’t even like the genre and if it was a conscious decision, the actor said, “I had signed this film during the release of Raazi. At that time Sanju had not released and Uri had not even begun so it was long back.”
“Of course, the quest is to keep exploring new territories as an actor and to keep exploring new genres. The time we are living in today, as an audience and as an industry member we are all in this bend, where we are hungry for new content. We all are hungry to be surprised as makers as well as audience. So I feel ab try nahi kiya to fir kab try kiya? I am really excited to try new stuff keeping aside my own personal fears and likings, I would love to explore all that I can as an artiste,” further added.
Vicky will be seen opposite Bhumi Pednekar in Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship, which will release on February 21.
