Did You Know Anil Kapoor Wanted To Play Kunal Kemmu’s Character in Malang?

Anil Kapoor is playing a bindass cop named Akash in Mohit Suri’s upcoming film Malang, which also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu in the lead roles and Anil recently revealed that he initially wanted to essay the character played by Kunal Kemmu in the movie.

Kapoor candidly admitted, “When I first heard the script, I wanted to do Kunal Kemmu’s role. I will call it Kunal’s role as Kunal has done an absolutely brilliant job and I wanted to do it, but Mohit Suri, the writers, the producers everybody wanted me to do Akash’s role. My heart was there but they asked me to do this role and I am very happy that they convinced me to do it.”
