Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Trailer Review:

The trailer of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 has finally been released, marking the return of Kapil Sharma to the big screen after a long time. The first film, released in 2015, was a decent commercial success and gained popularity mainly because of Kapil’s comic timing. Now, after almost ten years, the makers have decided to extend the story with a sequel. However, the trailer suggests that nothing much has changed.

The plot once again revolves around a man juggling multiple marriages. This time, the character is married to three women belonging to different religions — Hindu, Muslim, and Christian. Each wife believes she is the only one in his life. Just when the chaos doesn’t seem enough, he plans to marry a fourth woman. The situations, confusion, and comedy appear to follow the same old pattern we have already seen in the first part.

Kapil Sharma tries hard to recreate the charm that made the previous film enjoyable, but the jokes feel repetitive and outdated. Manjot Singh also supports him with full effort, but the gags still fall flat in many places. The female cast — including Tridha Choudhary, Parul Gulati, Ayesha Khan, and others — seem to be used more for glamour than performance. Even the religious angle feels like a desperate attempt to add newness, instead of genuine storytelling.

The trailer does not inspire much confidence and gives the impression of a sequel made just for the sake of it. After several recent sequels failing to impress audiences, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 looks like another forced addition to Bollywood’s list of unnecessary continuations. Kapil's previous theatrical release was a huge box office flop, so there is a question on his crowd pulling ability. But will he be able to do that with the help of a sequel?

The film is written and directed by Anukalp Goswami and also features Asrani and Vipin Sharma in important roles. Let’s see if the final film can offer more than what the trailer promises.
