By now we are sure all of you know that Kiara Advani’s real name is Alia Advani. However, she changed her name to Kiara before marking her Bollywood debut as she didn’t want the audiences to confuse her with Alia Bhatt, who was already a known star then.

While it was Salman Khan, who had suggested her to change her name, it was one of Priyanka Chopra’s characters which inspired her to take up the name Kiara. PeeCee had played a girl called Kiara in Anjaana Anjaani, in which she was seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Kiara fell in love with the name when Priyanka introduced herself in the movie and thought to herself that she would name her daughter Kiara. Little did she know that she would soon require a new name for herself and when she had to, she chose to name herself Kiara.

Kiara’s last release Kabir Singh has wrecked havoc at the box-office and currently she has her platter full with some exciting projects. The actress will be next seen in Laxmmi Bomb, Indoo Ki Jawani, Shershaah and Good News. She is also playing the lead role in Karan Johar’s Netflix original, Guilty.
