Kiara Advani Joins Shakti Shalini

Following the huge success of Stree 2, Maddock Films announced an extensive slate of horror-comedy movies from their horror universe. Among these projects is Shakti Shalini, scheduled for a theatrical release on December 31, 2025. According to a report in Peeping Moon, the leading lady has now been finalized for this project.

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani will star in the lead role in this forthcoming horror-comedy. The next film in the horror universe franchise is Thama, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Rashmika Mandanna, which is based on vampires. Immediately after that, Shakti Shalini will make its entry into the horror universe.

The report also confirms that filmmaker Ajitpal Singh will be directing this film for Maddock Films. The details regarding the storyline are currently under wraps, but it will be a mythological horror, drawing from our history, traditions, and mythological literature.
