Khopdi From Nukkad, Pushpak Vimana & Raja Babu Fame Sameer Khakhar Passes Away —

Veteran Indian actor, Sameer Khakhar, who was active in Bollywood movies, TV serials, Stage and OTT space, passed away this morning. We pray for his soul to rest in peace in heaven.Sameer Khakhar's notable TV serial roles include that of one of the drunken characters, Khopdi from the popular TV serial Nukkad (1986), directed by Kundan Shah and Saeed Akhtar Mirza. In movies, his most memorable role was in Kamal Haasan's 1987 silent classic, Pushpaka Vimana.

Many people know him for playing an abnormal man in Govinda-Karishma Kapoor's 1994 hit film, Raja Babu. He has also appeared in movies like Shahenshah (1988), Dilwale (1994), Prem Shakti (1994), Hasee Toh Phasee (2014), Jai Ho (2014), and Sunflower (2021).
