Kevin Spacey Awarded Honorary Knighthood By Prince Charles

Two-time Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey was awarded with an honourary knighthood for his services to theatre, arts and international culture. The 56-year-old actor received the honourary title of Knight Commander from His Royal Highness Prince Charles on Thursday in London.

Delighted on receiving the honour, the 'House Of Cards' star shared a picture of him and Prince Charles on Twitter and wrote: ''I may play a President on TV, but in real life I'm now a Sir. Thanks HRH--what a prince of a guy!''

The New Jersey born actor will not be allowed to call himself Sir Kevin, as he is a recipient of the honour from outside the Commonwealth. However, the Usual Suspects star will be allowed to use 'KBE' after his name.
