The film opened with ₹7.84 crore nett on Friday and then increased by 28% on Saturday. It has exhibited excellent trending, as no other Bollywood movie has shown such a significant jump on the second day after a holiday. Now, the film has gone up by 35-40% on Sunday, ensuring its long run. Monday will confirm this, but given the initials and positive word-of-mouth, there seems to be no stopping Kesari 2 now.
