To begin with, it's an untold story of a statesman and a lawyer, Sir C. Sankaran. Frankly, not many people are aware of the battle he fought against the British Empire, but it is factually correct that the battle he waged against the British was India's biggest legal battle against the colonizers. With Kesari Chapter 2, we are all set to witness a staggering story of C. Sankaran and his stellar fight against the British Empire.

You might have noticed a few elements in the trailer where C. Sankaran is investigating what really happened before the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and how General Dyer fabricated false narratives. Before the firing took place, around 5 PM, an airplane hovered over Jallianwala Bagh, to which Dyer has no answer (according to the trailer). Many more cover-ups like this are set to be exposed in Kesari 2 as C. Sankaran interrogates General Dyer and the other British officers responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent people.

In one scene, the protagonist mentions the official figures of the dead: 1,650. However, since the British disposed of many corpses without proper rituals, we may never know what the real figure was.
