The actress recently revealed that she is in the process of cashing in on her internet popularity by coming up with a website for distressed women, who need urgent and immediate help and support, but don't know who to approach for effective remedy. A source close to the actress was quoted to have said, "Katrina has been quietly helping her mother with all the philanthropic work that the latter does in Pondicherry for deprived children. Katrina feels that an online helpline for women through a website would be a good idea. She feels that a website devoted to women who are too embarrassed to discuss their problems on the phone and television, would be far more in-sync with what she feels is the correct way to use her strength on the internet."

Incidentally, Katrina had agreed to be a part of a film project which was supposed to tackle the problem of domestic issue, which is on the anvil. In the past, the pretty actress has attended events alongwith her Race co-star Saif Ali Khan to spread awareness against domestic abuse.
