Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela's love story postponed:

Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela recently wrapped a schedule for Anurag Basu's next musical love story. The film was scheduled for release on Diwali 2025, but reports now suggest that the film is being postponed. According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, the untitled love story featuring Kartik and Sreeleela still has one schedule left for August 2025, which makes a Diwali release difficult.

"The next schedule of Aashiqui 3 is expected to roll only in August, and it'll be impossible to finish the film in September and prepare it for an October release if the current timeline is followed," a source told the portal. 

This movie was set to clash with Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Paresh Rawal, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Rashmika Mandanna, but now the clash seems to be averted. The makers haven't released any official confirmation regarding this, but they are likely to speak up soon and confirm whether the reports are true or not.

For now, it seems that Aditya Sarpotdar's Thama, which belongs to the horror universe, will enjoy a solo festival release on Diwali. The film is based on a vampire theme and a love story spanning across timelines, with a solid dose of comedy. If not Anurag Basu's film, we might see some other film clashing against Thama on Diwali, since the release period is one of the biggest dates of the year.
