Karishma Tanna Says Goodbye To Heels For 'Grand Masti'

After making a mark in the television industry, actress Karishma Tanna is now all set to take Bollywood by storm. The leggy lass will be next seen in Indra Kumar’s upcoming laugh riot Grand Masti.

However, Karishma who has been a model in the past was banned from wearing heels on the sets of the film, thanks to her co-actor Vivek Oberoi. Karishma stands 5’8” tall and had she worn any heels, she would have looked taller than Vivek, who is only two inches taller than her.

As a result, Kumar and the styling team ensured that she wore flats throughout her scenes with him. Apparantely, in the beginning Karishma was upset about it but later she became more sporting.

When asked about this hilarious turn of events, a source quips, " Yes we had to ban Karishma from wearing heels as she ended up looking taller than everyone, including her own co-star Vivek! Induji and Ashok Thakeriaji convinced her to get styled with flat shoes instead and she very sportingly agreed, with a smile!"

Produced by Ashok Thakeria, the film is a sequel to 2004 hit film Masti and stars Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, Manjari Fadnis, Bruna Abdullah, Maryam Zakaria, Suresh Menon and Pradeep Rawat in the lead roles.
