Kareena Kapoor says Aamir Khan Was Shattered After Laal Singh Chaddha

Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan collaborated in Laal Singh Chaddha after the record-breaking hit 3 Idiots and the moderate success of Talaash. This official adaptation of the Oscar-winning classic Forrest Gump flopped badly at the box office. Following that, Aamir Khan was "shattered," revealed Kareena Kapoor during a recent roundtable conversation with Hollywood Reporter India.

Laal Singh Chaddha

Kareena mentioned that Aamir was very upset about the film's failure and even asked her if she would be unhappy with him after this setback. "Apni picture flop ho gayi, baat to karegi na tu mujhse," Aamir jokingly asked Kareena when they met at an event after Laal Singh Chaddha's release. However, Kareena was pleased to respond that she was happier about the role and its impact than about the box office numbers. "We are actors. I am most proud that you gave me Rupa," said the actress.

"You have such stalwarts like Aamir who believed in that film (Laal Singh Chaddha). He was shattered," Bebo said during the interview, leaving others in shock.

Singham Again

Kareena's recent release Singham Again also failed to make a significant impact at the box office, so when commenting on the possible comparisons between the characters, she chose Rupa from Laal Singh Chaddha over Avni from Singham Again. "I feel Rupa has done more for me than what Singham Again can do." Tell us if you agree with the actress or not!
