Karan Johar has been receiving a lot of flak from the public, post Sushant Singh Rajput's death as it is being alleged that he along with some other Bollywood elites had bullied and boycotted the actor.

Sushant's death has restarted the debate on nepotism in Bollywood and Karan has been on the receiving end. Amid all the social media outrage, it was recently reported that the makers of Akshay KK

umar starrer Sooryavanshi have dropped Karan's name from the cop drama however, these reports are not true.

The makers of the movie have clarified that KJo, who has co-produced the movie, is very much a part of the much-anticipated actioner, which has been directed by Rohit Shetty. The action-drama also stars Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Katrina Kaif.

The film was slated to release on March 24 but it got postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. The film is now slated to release on Diwali 2020.
