Karan Johar has kind of come out of the closet with his autobiography An Unsuitable Boy however, he doesn't want to be very forthright about it as he doesn't want FIRs to get registered against him under Section 377 of the IPC.

However, years ago when a stranger asked him about his sexuality, he gave him the most epic response. At the launch of his book, Shobhaa De narrated the incident. It so happened that a random guy came to Karan at the airport and asked him if he's a homo, Karan replied to him, "Why are you interested?"
