Karan Johar Refutes Having 'Dhadak 2' Title For Tripti Dimri & Siddhant Chaturvedi Starrer

As per media reports, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is making a romantic drama with Tripti Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the lead roles. The report also stated that it would be titled Dhadak 2, making it a standalone sequel to Dhadak (2018). However, it's not true.

Karan Johar, who has been reading all the news articles, has come forward to deny all the reports. He wrote on his Instagram story, "To put this on record and for all concerned, we (Dharma Productions) are not making a film with the title Dhadak 2 as is being reported in various articles."

From his statement, one can gather that the film with Tripti Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi is very much on the cards, but it's just the title that's being reported falsely."Dhadak (2018), an official remake of the Marathi megablockbuster Sairat, was a box office hit with Ishaan Khatter and debutant Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles.
