Karan Johar Receives An Autographed Poster Of Meryl Streep On His 40th Birthday

That Karan Johar is a big fan of Hollywood star Meryl Streep is not really a secret. The director turns 40 today and his friends have bestowed him with a very special gift, owing to his craze for the Iron Lady actress. Sources claim that he has received the biggest and the most special birthday gift that he will cherish for his entire life. Karan has received a life-size poster of Streep, with a personalized message by the legendary actress for him.

A source was quoted saying, "It was originally Garima Vohra's idea. She works with Dharma Productions and is aware that Karan is a huge fan of Streep. So, she got in touch with the office of 20th Century Fox since they had done My Name Is Khan together. The officials at the studio got in touch with Meryl and the actress was glad to oblige."

Karan was given the poster on Thursday afternoon, much to his amazement. He was quoted saying, "I am a huge fan of Meryl Streep and am overwhelmed to receive a personally addressed note."
