Karan Johar react to General Dyer's granddaughter:

Karan Johar was present at the press conference for Kesari Chapter 2 in Mumbai today. He was asked to share his reaction to General Dyer's granddaughter, Caroline Dyer's viral video, in which she mocked Indians and Balwant Singh, who survived the massacre at Jallianwala Bagh. The producer of Kesari Chapter 2 said, "Khoon khaulta hai when we see comments like this." Watch his reaction below:

Earlier, Caroline made remarks about Raj Kohli, whose great-uncle, Balwinder Singh, had survived the brutal attack at Jallianwala Bagh. Talking about Singh, Caroline said, "He was a looter. I think history is history, and you’ve got to accept that. General Dyer is a very honorable man and greatly liked by the Indians, who spoke three or four Indian languages, which very few people did."

Kesari Chapter 2 sheds light on India's biggest courtroom battle against the British Empire for the cruelty they showed at Jallianwala Bagh in 1919. The film stars Akshay Kumar as C. Sankara Nair, Ananya Panday as Dilreet Gill, and R. Madhavan as the opposing counsel, Adv. Neville McKinley.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film is presented by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films. Kesari Chapter 2 is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari, with co-producers Marijke de Souza, Somen Mishra, and Vedant Baali. It is scheduled for release on April 18, 2025.
