Kapkapiii Trailer: Another Remake, Another Horror-Comedy Crap!

Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Siddhi Idnani, and others star in Sangeeth Sivan's horror-comedy, Kapkapiii. The trailer has now been launched, and all we can say is that it looks like another failure in the horror-comedy genre for Bollywood. Watch the trailer below:

Bollywood hasn't been able to deliver successful horror comedies since Golmaal Again and Maddock's Horror-Universe, and this one is yet another poor attempt. The trailer for Kapkapiii lacks moments of genuine scares, authentic comedy, or captivating horror. The humor also falls flat. Moreover, it's a remake of the Malayalam movie, Romacham (2023), which itself isn't good enough to merit a remake.

Kapkapiii follows the same trend as other failed horror comedies in Bollywood, which have been forced out in the last four to five years. Except for Maddock, no one has achieved success, and even  has floundered with Roohi and Bhediya. The fate of Kapkapiii seems almost sealed at the moment, as the trailer lacks watch-value, and with poor promotions, the team will face a tough road ahead.

Directed by Sangeeth Sivan, the film stars Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Siddhi Idnani, Sonia Rathee, Abhishek Kumar, Varun Pandey, Dherendra Tiwari, Manmeet Kaur, Dinkar Sharma, and others. It is produced by `and will be distributed by Zee Studios.
