Did Kanika Kapoor Meet Prince Charles in London? Viral Picture Raises Question

Soon after Clarence House declared, that the heir to British Throne, Prince Charles, 71, has been tested positive for Coronavirus on 25th March 2020, Internet got flooded with a picture of Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor having a meet and greet with Prince Charles. Soon the picture ignited several speculations and rumours, stating that the Prince must have been infected with the deadly COVID-19 by singer Kanika. However for facts, the picture is an old picture which was from a royal event held in 2015.
Reportedly the picture is from an event – the Elephant Family charity ‘Travels to my Elephants’ – hosted by Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, in 2015. As per reports later once again in 2018, Kanika was again invited to the Buckingham Palace in London to perform for the royal couple in 2018.

Meanwhile Kanika is presently admitted at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow, where she is getting treated for COVID-19. The singer was tested positive for the third consecutive time yesterday for COVID-19. She has been booked by the UP police, an FIR has been lodged against her under Sections 188, 269, and 270 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Sarojini Nagar police station for negligence, as she attended at least three public gatherings and even stayed at a 5 star hotel after returning from London. As opposed to the guidelines issued by government of India for all foreign returned citizen? amid coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile Prince of Wales who has been showing mild symptoms but is otherwise in ‘good health’, has cancelled all his engagements and left for Scotland from England due to the pandemic to isolate himself, along with his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 72, who has been tested negative.
