A tweet of Kangana Ranaut has landed her in legal soup again. A Punjab-based lawyer has sent a legal notice to the actor for misidentifying an old woman at the farmer's protest as Shaheen Bagh's famous dadi, Bilkis Bano.

In her now deleted tweet Kangana had reacted to another Twitter user's tweet writing, "Ha ha ha, she is the same dadi who featured in Time magazine for being the most powerful Indian... And she is available in 100 rupees. Pakistani journos have hijacked international PR for India in an embarrassing way. We need our own people to speak for us internationally."

Advocate Harkam Singh, in the legal notice suggested that the actress should have authenticated information before posting it on social media and demanded an apology from her within seven days, failing which a defamation case will be pursued.

The lady in the picture is Ms. Mahinder Kaur, wife of a farmer from Bathinda and not Bilkis. In the notice it has been mentioned that Kangana with her tweet has not only lowered down the prestige and image of the lady but also of each person who is fighting for their rights.

"That by tweeting in such a manner, the same also points out towards the fact that the protest which is being conducted by the farmers, is being conducted by bringing persons on rent. Such low thinking from you, who herself is lady and celebrity, is not acceptable," the notice reads.

Ms. Mahinder Kaur is also disappointed with Kangana's derogatory tweets.
