Kangana Ranaut calls Oscars silly

Kangana Ranaut has made another stirring comment on her social media, but this time she placed Indian awards higher than international awards. The actress was recently informed by a fan that she deserves an Oscar for her performance in her film, Emergency (2025), to which she responded by calling the Oscars "silly." Let's take a look at the conversation and the screenshot below.

A netizen wrote on Twitter/X, "#Emergency should go for the Oscars from India. Kangana, what a film (sic)." However, the actress did not appreciate the comment and replied, "But America wouldn't like to acknowledge its real face, how they bully, suppress, and arm-twist developing nations. It's been exposed in #Emergency. They can keep their silly Oscars. We have National Awards."

Kangana calling our national awards better than the Oscars is certainly a proud moment for every Indian, but will people in the West approve of that? This may take a wrong turn, we fear, but hasn’t Kangana been there before?
