Kalki 2898 AD was hit by the T20 World Cup final match yesterday, but still managed to collect over 25 crore nett. The expected collections on any normal Saturday would have been 30 crore nett, but the big World Cup match with Team India in it really took away those extra numbers.

Kalki 2898 AD minted 25.50 crore nett approx on Saturday, taking the opening weekend total slightly over 68 crore nett.

Now the film is all set to score a big Sunday, and there are no restrictions today. It should aim for the 100 crore nett club today, or tomorrow if it's missed by a small margin.Kalki 2898 AD is set to emerge as a clean HIT in Hindi markets as it has found acceptance, which will make sure that it scores decently on weekdays, and then there are no big movies next week.
