Kajol, who recently made her digital debut with a short film titled Devi, recently said that though there is a gender bias in the industry, it has more to do with society than just one particular field.

When asked if she believes that there is a gender bias in Bollywood the actor said, “Yes, there is a gender bias but I think it has more to do with society than a particular field, it has more to do with what kind of films you watch as an audience. If you make Wonder Woman the highest grossing film, there will be no pay parity."

"So it has to be a societal change, you cant blame a particular field saying that it’s the film industry’s problem. This is nobody else’s problem this is our problem and we all have to raise our voices and also bring about a change by teaching our kids right so that we can change the future," she further added.

Devi also stars Neha Dhupia, Shruti Haasan and Yashaswani Dayama among others and it's getting rave reviews from all quarters.
