Kabir Khan Signs Sunny Kaushal And Sharvari Wagh For His Web Series 'The Forgotten Army'

Director Kabir Khan, who is looking forward to the release of his much-anticipated film ’83, is now gearing up to enter the OTT arena with The Forgotten Army.

Kabir has roped in Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari Wagh to play the lead roles in his digital debut and the logo of the web series was unveiled today. The series will air on Amazon Prime and an excited Kabir shared the first poster with his followers today. Along with it, he wrote, “Walking into a new medium with a longstanding dream! Super excited to present my passion project, #TheForgottenArmy on @primevideoin.”

The show is based on true events and revolves around the brave men and women, who formed the Indian National Army led by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Sharvari is also playing the female lead opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi in YRF’s Bunty Aur Babli 2. Sunny has three films to look forward to- Bhangra Pa Le, Hurdang and Shiddat.
