Anees Bazmee’s Pagalpanti released on Friday and despite having a solo release, the John Abraham starrer failed to bring the audiences to the theaters.
The film, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Urvashi Rautela and Arshad Warsi, earned Rs. 7.1 crore at the domestic box-office on the first day of its release. The film released in 3200 screens across the nation and therefore, this collection is dismal.
Business is expected to escalate over the weekend but the film will have to perform well on weekdays to sustain.
