Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan broke the opening day record of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's War (50.61 crore nett) and created a new record. 8 months later, SRK beat SRK to set a new record. Jawan is off to a humongous start with an estimated 61 crore nett, which might go higher.
Pathaan collected 55 crore in Hindi and 57 crore in all languages on the opening day, which was a non-holiday. Jawan is boosted by Janmashtami's partial holiday, and the numbers are massive in Northern India.
