Jawan Is Shah Rukh Khan's 8th Record Opener; Here Is The List of Last 33 Record Openers -

Shah Rukh Khan is ruling 2023 like never before with Pathaan and Jawan. Pathaan surpassed the previous opening day record of War (50.61 crore), and now Jawan has crossed Pathaan's numbers by a good margin to set a new record. Jawan minted 65 crore nett on first day, surpassing the 55 crore nett of Pathaan.

This is the 8th time that Shahrukh Khan has broken the opening day record at the box office. His previous record opening days include Pathaan, Happy New Year, Main Hoon Naa, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Koyla, Trimurti, and Karan Arjun. This is the first time that SRK has scored record openings with back-to-back films, while he also has two record openings in a single year after 1996.
