publive-imageShah Rukh Khan's Jawan is doing fantastic business at the Indian and overseas box offices. But like every film, even Jawan had to tackle the biggest issue our industry has been facing for years—piracy! Well, SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment was cautious enough to take action against such illegal activities.

To tackle digital piracy, Red Chillies Entertainment has taken strict disciplinary action against individuals sharing the clips or uploading them across platforms like WhatsApp and others. Multiple anti-piracy agencies have been hired by the production house to aggressively track down individuals and groups, who are then reported to the police to take criminal action for spreading piracy.

Solidifying the process further, the production house today filed a police complaint with police inspector Mr. Amar Patil from Santacruz West Police Station against people who are indulging in piracy. Hopefully, the culprits will be punished as per the laws, and it will set a good example for our industry to prevent piracy in the future.

A source close to RCE informs, "We have already tracked down pirated accounts run by individuals across various platforms; criminal and civil action is being initiated against them for releasing pirated content of the film Jawan. Piracy is a huge issue faced by the film industry at large and undermines the hard work of thousands of people associated with the film. Such acts of illegally recording and leaking amount to cheating, theft, and infringement/violation of intellectual property".
